Day 1

Siem Reap – Arrival

Arrival in Siem Reap, the starting point of the Angkor temples. Transfer to hotel. Free rest of the day. Accommodation.

Day 2

Siem Reap – Angkor and Thom Temples, and Group Roulos

At dawn if the weather permits, we will enjoy the first sun rays at Angkor Wat, the most famous of the temples. Then, breakfast at a local cafe, and later return to this great architectural piece. It was built in the beguining of the twelfth century, and over 30 years of hard work were needed. The highlight of this work of art are the 2000 sculptures of Apsaras dancers that decorate the inside walls. We will continue to visit all temples from the Rolous group that includes the Bakong, Preah Ko and Lolei. We finish the day comtemplating one of the most spectacular views aboard an hot air static ballon that will rise up to 120 meters above the temples. Return to the hotel. Accommodation in Siem Reap.

Day 3

Siem Reap – Angkor Thom & Ta Phrom

Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will explore the archaeological site of Angkor Thom the last capital of the Khmer empire, which includes the famous Bayon Temple, the Terrace of the Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King. We will pass through one of the entrances of the temples mounted on an elephant,
for sure will be an experience that transports us to other times. In the afternoon, we will see a craft center and then we jump in to a “tuk-tuk” to Ta Phrom, one of the most spectacular temples. Also called “Temple of the Jungle,” was one of the sets of the movie Tomb Raider. We may also admire the temples of
Banteay Kdei and Srah Srang. Return al hotel. Accommodation.

Day 4

Siem Reap – Beng Mealea & Banteay Srei

Breakfast. During this day we will visit some temples that are further away and have fewer numbers of visitors. The Beng Mealea Temple reachable after a pleasant walk through the jungle. Picnic lunch. In the afternoon, we will continue our day with a visit to the Bateay Srey Temple and Kbal Spean Temple,
located in this area on a hill and surrounded by jungle. Its main attraction are its beautiful reliefs that lie within the river. Return to Siem Reap. Accommodation.

Day 5

Siem Reap – Tonle Sap – Battambang

Breakfast and departure by private boat across the Tonle Sap Lake with destination to Battambang, the second largest city in the country and for years isolated from tourism. While cruising we can admire the different floating villages by the shore of the lake. Arrival and tour to Battambang to explore some of the
surrounding villages where local products are manufactured, and taste typical Cambodian dishes like “prahoc” (fish paste) or “grolan” (rice in bamboo basket). Return to the city, where we
dine at a local restaurant. Accommodation.

Day 6

Battambang – Phnom Penh

Breakfast. This morning we will enjoy a unique experience: a fun ride on the famous train / the Bamboo Train. A rudimentary means of transport on old rails, which was used for transporting food and local people from the different villages. Seated on a platform made of bamboo and with a small engine, we travel for about 8 kms along side the magnificent tropical landscape and rice paddies. In the afternoon, we travel by road towards Phnom Penh. Accommodation.

Day 7

Phnom Penh City Tour

Breakfast. Today, tour the city using a typical and local means of transport, the “Cyclo”. Visit the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda, Wat Phnom or temple of the mountain and the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum dedicated to the sad and violent period of the Khmer Rouge. At the end of this day visit to the
Tuol Tompong market also known as the Russian market. Accommodation.

Day 8

Phnom Penh – Sihanoukville

Breakfast. We take the road towards Sihanoukville, a 4 hours drive from Phnom Penh. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free. Accommodation.

Day 9

Sihanoukville – Fresh & Free

Breakfast and accommodation. Free days to enjoy this city on the banks of the Gulf of Thailand in southern Cambodia. The main attraction are its relaxing beaches, tropical islands and sports / water sports.

Sihanoukville – Fresh & Free

Sihanoukville – Phnom Penh – Return
