Day 1

Hanoi – Arrival – Half Day Tour

Arrival at Hanoi International Airport, where after making the visa arrangements, we will meet our guide who will welcome us and escort us to the hotel to do the check in. In the afternoon, we will visit the complex of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, which includes the home of the famous  revolutionary leader, where he spent his last days, and the famous One Pillar Pagoda, with its exuberant lotus flower shape and symbol Vietnam. Then, transfer to the  Hoan Kiem Lake where we stroll around and visit the old quarter of Hanoi and its busy streets aboard a popular Cyclo – 1 hour drive. We finish our day by attending at the Thang Long Theatre an amusing show of Water Puppetry, a traditional Vietnamese folk show. After the show transfer to a local restaurant where we will provide you a welcome dinner. Return to hotel and overnight.

Day 2

Hanoi – Halong Bay

Breakfast at the hotel. We will drive for 160 Kms towards east to Halong Bay (the ride has about 3 ½ hours duration and a stop will be made on the way),but firstly we will pay a visit to the Temple of Literature, built in the X century and considered as the 1st University of Vietnam and it is a tribute to the master Confucius.  Upon arrival Halong Bay, embark on board of a traditional junk for a memorable cruise where you will visit some islands and caves. You will also have the opportunity to swim or use the kayak (not included) around the beach Soi Sim / Titov. After a brief introduction, you will be welcomed with a local seafood lunch. In the afternoon the chef will give a Vietnamese cooking class in the terrace deack. Admire meantime the sunset on the bay, enjoy a massage at the Spa (not included) or have fun with the “happy hour” time at the bar. Delicious dinner  served on board. Practice squid fishing at night optional. Overnight on borad.

Day 3

Halong Bay – Danang – Hoi An

Breakfast on board based tea and pastries. Start this day  with a master class in Tai Chi on the deck of the junk with one of the best teachers in Vietnam while the ship continues sailing slowly through the beautiful scenery offered by the Bay. After visit to the “Surprise Cave”, the most beautiful and largest of the bay. Back on board, enjoy a full brunch just before arriving to the pier. Arrive at Halong pier and transfer to Hanoi airport to flight to Danang. On the way, stop to visit But Thap Pagoda, founded in 1300. Estimated flight time: HAN-DAD VN177 @ 18:45 – 20:00 Arrival at Danang airport, our guide and driver are waiting to take you to the hotel in Hoi An (35 minutes). Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 4

Hoi An – Walking Half Day Tour

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, we will hike to explore this historic village that between the sixteenth and eighteenth centuries was a thriving port city. Today, full of life has a lot of very attractive features for its visitors. You will visit the local market of Hoi An, where you can experience the different flavors of local products – some of them new for sure to you; visit the Tan Ky old house, dating from the nineteenth century and with a strong Chinese influence, Japanese and European, the Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, considered of great architectural and cultural significance in Hoi An, and finally, the legendary Japanese Bridge with over 400 years of history. Also enjoy how local residents produce silk for Hoi An textile industry in a local factory. Lunch at local restaurant included. Return to the hotel to enjoy free time. Dinner by your account and overnight in Hoi An.

Day 5

Hoi An – Danang – Hue

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, we drive up north to Hue, located about 120km of Hoi An (about 2.5 hours). Enroute visit the Cham Museum, which houses some important pieces of this art. Near Danag we visit the Marble Mountain, which until recently served as a quarry for workshops around and today is used as a tourist site. On the way to Hue, you will stop at the fishing village of Lang Co to ​​take wonderful pictures of the landscape. (The trip will take place through the Hai Van Pass, one of the highest areas in central Vietnam). Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Hue. In the afternoon, we will visit the vast complex of the Imperial Citadel of Hue, which was the ancient capital of Vietnam for 150 years. In it lived the kings of the Nguyen Dynasty, one of the most influential in the vietnamese history. If time allows, on the return to the hotel, stop to visit the local Dong Ba market, one of the most frequented places. Arrival, dinner on your own. Accommodation in Hue.

Day 6

Hue (full day tour) -Ho Chi Minh

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, we leave the hotel and go river pier of Hue to board on a long tail tradicional boat, and departe for a cruise – about 50 minutes – along the Perfume River to reach Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the most venerated in the city. Then visit to the imperial Tomb of Khai Dinh, referred to as the most majestic of Vietnam. Located at the foot of Chau Chu mountain, and not very large, it is decorated and built in a very detailed fashion. We continue our tour to the Tomb of Emperor Tu Duc and also visit his summer Palace which he ordered. We finish the tour in a small village of incense, where locals produce hundreds of units for distribution. Participate in the elaboration and interact with them. Lunch served at a local restaurant in Hue. From Hue transfer to the city’s airport to flight to Ho Chi Minh City, known locally as Saigon. Estimated flight time: VN1375 HUISGN @18:00 – 19:20 Arrival in Saigon where our guide will meet you and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Free time on your own. Night in hotel in Saigon.

Day 7

Ho Chi Minh –Cu Chi  Tunnels &Half Day Tour

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, our guide will pick you up at your hotel and drive to the tunnels of Cu Chi, located 45 miles north of Saigon. This ingenious labyrinth of tunnels wasa 200 km lenght and was created by the vietnamese fighters to attack the American troops during the war, and served as a hiding place and housing for several months. A real blast! Learn first hand the whole story, traps and stories that will captivate you. After the visit, return to Saigon where lunch will be served at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the War Museum, with stunning illustrations that will give you a comprehensive and a real idea of ​​what happened during that fateful time – 1 hour visit. We end today’s visit to the city at the old Presidential Palace, where the independence in 1975 was declared and also make a stop to take pictures of the Church of Notre Dame and the Central Post Office, the latter built by Gustave Eiffel. Rest of the afternoon on your own. Night hotel in Saigon.

Ho Chi Minh – Return home

Breakfast at the hotel. Free time until transfer to the airport.
